Ghost V4 on Koh Samui
The Ghost V4 is a good first own kite after our Full Beginner or Independent course. It relaunches easily from the water, has smooth low-end power and does not punish small mistakes — exactly what you want while you are still building confidence.
On Koh Samui it fits both spots. At Nahai Beach (December–April, 12–20 kts) the shallow flat water and steady E–SE wind make it an easy kite to ride every day. At Nathon Beach (May–October, 10–18 kts, more variable) its low-end power keeps you on the water on lighter days.
