How We
Teach
We use progressive teaching windsurfing method — a structured progression from first beach drills all the way to independent sailing upwind and downwind in real conditions.
Teaching takes place at our seasonal beach spot: Nahai Beach from December to April and Nathon Beach from May to October. Beginner rigs are light and easy to handle, making it possible to focus on technique without fighting heavy equipment.
Windsurfing lessons are taught in English, Russian and Thai. We adapt equipment size and teaching approach to each student's physique, fitness level and natural pace of learning.

Frequently Asked
Questions
No prior experience is needed. We teach complete beginners from scratch using light beginner rigs in calm conditions. If you can balance on a surfboard or similar, you will progress faster — but it is absolutely not a requirement.
The Discovery Lesson (2h) gets you sailing in a straight line. The Beginner Course (3 days) takes you to sailing in both directions with basic turns. The Independent Course (4 days) brings upwind sailing. Most students reach basic independence within the 3-day course.
We use light beginner rigs with soft, easy-to-handle sails (3.5–5m²). Boards are wide and stable for maximum balance. All equipment is maintained and replaced regularly. Wetsuit or rash guard is provided on request.
Windsurfing has a short learning curve compared to kitesurfing. Most people sail in a straight line within their first 2-hour session. The challenge is turning and sailing upwind — that takes 2–3 days of practice. Our progressive teaching method makes it much easier than learning in ocean conditions.
What Our Students Say
Real Google reviews of our home school on Koh Phangan — the same team and teaching method, now on Koh Samui.
"Great kite surfing school! The team at Kite Club got me from zero experience to being independent. Instructors are skilled, attentive, and great at explaining everything clearly. I progressed faster than expected and felt confident every session."
"I was a total beginner and initially signed up just for the intro class, then added another 2 hours. Roman was a great teacher — clear explanations, good structure, very patient. Safety was top priority but he ensured I had fun too. Highly recommended!"
"I had two days of lessons with Abdoul. I've taken kitesurfing lessons in several countries but this was by far my best experience. The equipment was professional. You were provided with a walkie-talkie, which made communication on the water easy."
