Learning with friends or family is one of the best ways to get into kitesurfing — you share the progress, the falls and the stories at dinner. Here is how we organise lessons for groups on Koh Samui.

How Group Lessons Work

In our group format two students share one instructor and the sessions are longer; private means one student per instructor. The course price is the same either way — a group simply gets more hours on the water.

CoursePrivateGroup of twoPrice
Discovery2 h3 h5,000 THB
Full Beginner6 h (3 × 2 h)9 h (3 × 3 h)14,000 THB
Independent10 h (5 × 2 h)15 h (5 × 3 h)20,000 THB

Bigger groups are split into pairs, each pair with its own instructor, and sessions are scheduled around the wind.

Mixed Levels

Groups rarely learn at the same speed. We pair people of similar level, so a faster learner is not held back and a slower one is not rushed. Experienced riders in your group can rent gear and ride at the same spot while the others are in lessons.

For Those Who Do Not Kite

  • SUP from 400 THB per hour and kayaks from 500 THB per hour, from the same beach.
  • E-foil from 2,000 THB for 30 minutes — no wind needed.
  • Wing foil and windsurfing lessons for anyone who wants a different sport.
Expert Tip

Send us everyone’s weight, age and experience when you book. It lets us plan pairs, kite sizes and times before you arrive.

Planning Dates

For a group trip, January–March at Nahai Beach gives the most consistent wind; from May to October we teach at Nathon Beach. Book early for groups — instructors and time slots fill first in the peak months.
